Pur Artic Oil with lemon flavor is part of my morning supplement routine. It is stable at room temperature, has a very neutral taste and is very easy to ingest directly, or add to a smoothie or other morning drink.
The following video from Eqology explains why omega-3 is important.
Omega-3 Test Kits
One of the unique offerings from Eqology is their Omega-3 test kit. Testing to ensure you are getting the right doses of their supplements is a core part of Eqology’s business. This helps take the guess-work out of which supplement you need and how much.
The Omega-3 Test is a simple way to find out how much Omega-6 and Omega-3 (and other lipids) you have consumed in the last four months. The test can be taken at the start of a 6 month subscription and is included on the 5th month of every subscription.
It is a simple finger-prick test that can be done at home. The test sample, which is anonymous, is then mailed to an independent laboratory in Norway. After 25-30 days, you can use a unique code from your test to check your results.
Pure Arctic Oil Subscriptions
Pure Arctic Oil from Eqology is sold as 6 month subscriptions.
You receive a bottle of fish oil each month and also get 2 Omega-3 Test kits for fatty acid profiles along the way. One at the start and one together with the 5th month’s supply.
Subscriptions are 6 months at at time because it it takes at least 3-4 months to change the fatty acid composition in cell membranes and tissues.
If this is to be done consistently and make a difference, it requires some time. Depending on what your fatty acid profile looks like, it may take a several 6 months cycles to bring it into a health range.
